From Museum FLTS:

The Junction Triangle has always been a quiet mecca of creativity, alive with a rich history. A pulsing undercurrent of artists, entrepreneurs and tastemakers thrive in the historic buildings surrounding Sterling Road. Lower JCT. will encourage and embolden these essential individualities through innovative architecture and an emphasis on a community-oriented lifestyle. Ushering in the new with a nod to the past, architectsAlliance design will restore and transform the iconic Tower Automotive building while preserving its historic detailing. The restored heritage site will become the Auto BLDG. and The Museum of Contemporary Art, an epicentre of life and culture. The Museum FLTS., adjacent to the Auto BLDG., are the second residential phase of the Lower JCT. Drawing on the community’s unique and modern artistic energy, the 10-storey building will feature over 150 condominiums that have been meticulously designed to capture the essence of city living while providing all the necessities for active family lifestyles. Strategically integrated commercial space will attract new and expanding businesses. Independent coffee shops, art galleries, creative offices and food vendors alike will carve their presence into the malleable creative hotbed that is the Lower JCT. Innovation happens when diverse minds meet and mingle.

Designed by architect Peter Clewes of architectsAlliance, the building’s eye-catching exterior will become a new Toronto icon. Interiors designed by the boutique firm AOD will feature private balconies and spacious outdoor rooms.
