Drone Tour of Daniels Waterfront
TRANSCRIPT
Andrew La Fleur: Hi. It’s Andrew here again. Today I’m down at the waterfront and I want to take you on a tour of Daniels Waterfront Community. Come on. Let’s go.
Okay. Here we are now looking down on the site for Daniels Waterfront – City of the Arts, which is right here. The buildings that are under construction are the commercial office towers. The big hole in the ground, that’s where Lighthouse East and West Towers will soon be. Living here at Jarvis and Lakeshore means you’re just steps away from the world famous St. Lawrence Market. Union Station, the financial district, and the PATH network are also just a 10 to 15 minute walk away.
What’s really amazing about the location of Daniels Waterfront is that you are right at center ice of the billion dollar Toronto waterfront revitalization that’s currently happening. Starting at Yonge Street, where Pinnacle International will be building several towers including a 95 story tower, and then traveling east you have Menkes, who purchased the LCBO lands recently and will be building several towers there and also adding a new park. Then on the other side of Daniels Waterfront, you have the newly built Corus Quay office building and the George Brown campus. You got the recently completed Sherbourne Common park, you have Monde Condos by Great Gulf Homes under construction, and you got Tridel’s three buildings, Aqualina, Aquavista, and Aquabella, all under construction, too. Plus, plenty more buildings to come. Daniels Waterfront is right in the middle of it all.
Right behind me now is the George Brown campus, which currently exists at the Corus Quay building across the street from Daniels Waterfront. What’s interesting about Daniels Waterfront and makes it really unique as an investment opportunity is that it’s much more than just a single residential condominium because it’s also got two commercial office buildings, plenty of retail space, restaurants, shops, a public park, Sugar Beach North, and also George Brown has just announced that they’re going to be opening up a brand new campus inside the commercial component of Daniels Waterfront. It’s a very unique investment opportunity.
Now, whenever there’s a new building launch on the waterfront, the first thing on most people’s minds is getting that south-facing water view. While the water view obviously is going to be great in this building, my number one tip for investors is to actually forget about the water views and look at the north, east, and west views, which are much better value and actually a lot more dramatic. Let me show you what I mean.
Okay. That’s it for this video. Hope you learned something today. If you want to register and get the floor plans and prices for Daniels Waterfront, make sure you click on the link below. Until the next video, talk to you soon.
